Reverse description Reverse field bearing multiple lines of Arabic inscription in hammered relief, filling the flan in a manner consistent with Bijapur Sultanate copper fractional issues. The legends, likely recording the mint name, regnal information, or pious formulae, are arranged in horizontal registers across the field. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with natural die wear and patination characteristic of circulated hammered copper coinage of the mid-seventeenth century Deccan.
