The design is crudely executed in the hammered and cast tradition typical of Moroccan falus coinage of the mid-19th century, with an irregular flan and no surrounding legend or border. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Arabic date numerals occupying the lower portion of the field, with the mint letter for Rabat (Ra') positioned above and without a separating line between the mint letter and the date. The inscription is boldly struck but crudely formed, consistent with the hand-cut dies characteristic of Moroccan cast bronze coinage of the reign of Sultan Moulay Abd al-Rahman. The flan is irregular and the field is flat with no border. |
