Reverse description Multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script occupying the entire field, recording the denomination, mint name, and regnal or Hijri date. The bold, deeply struck calligraphic characters are typical of Herati mint copper issues of this period. The inscription reads 'falus Herat zarb' with the date distributed within or around the legend. The irregular flan and hammered technique result in partial legend loss near the edges on some specimens.
