| 裏面の説明 | Reverse displays a multi-line Arabic inscription in the central field, consistent with Ilkhanid mint and date formulae typical of fulus struck during the reign of Uljaytu (703–716 AH). The legend is set within a plain or linear border, though the irregular flan edges obscure portions of the marginal text. The hammered strike has produced uneven relief across the surface, with certain letters sharply defined while others are weak or missing. Traces of a circular marginal inscription are discernible in places, likely recording the mint name and regnal year. |

Uljaytu's reign produced one of the more unusual confessional pivots in Islamic numismatic history. He converted from Sunni Islam to Twelver Shi'ism around 1309–1310, a shift significant enough that he briefly considered moving the Prophet's remains from Medina to Najaf. Copper fals of this period are poorly documented relative to the silver dirhams and gold dinars of the Ilkhanate, and attribution often relies on Zeno database references precisely because systematic type cataloguing remains incomplete.
