| Reverse description | A fleur-de-lis motif is centrally placed within a six-pointed star (hexagram), the whole enclosed within a circle embellished with fleurons at its periphery. The geometric and floral ornamentation is characteristic of Mamluk decorative numismatic design, combining Islamic geometric symbolism with foliate embellishment. The interplay of the hexagram and floral border creates a striking heraldic composition typical of Mamluk fals reverses from the Tripoli mint. |
