The geometric and floral ornamentation is characteristic of Mamluk decorative numismatic design, combining Islamic geometric symbolism with foliate embellishment. The interplay of the hexagram and floral border creates a striking heraldic composition typical of Mamluk fals reverses from the Tripoli mint. |
