| 表面の説明 | Struck in hammered copper, the obverse bears a multi-line Arabic legend disposed across the field, typical of Mamluk fals coinage of the late 14th century. The inscription, rendered in cursive Naskh script, identifies the sultan and his royal titles. The flan is irregular in shape, as is characteristic of hand-struck Mamluk copper issues, with areas of flat strike and natural surface porosity. No figurative imagery is present, in keeping with Islamic numismatic convention. The overall layout is epigraphic, with the legend filling the available field without a border or decorative frame. |
