Comments

No entity called "Etat de Alabama" has issued banknotes under U.S. federal or state authority. The phrase is French for "State of Alabama," but Alabama has not issued its own currency — certainly not in 2003, decades after any plausible state-level emission and well into the era of exclusive Federal Reserve note circulation. This item is almost certainly a novelty or fantasy piece, not a legitimate fiscal instrument.
