| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central quartered shield of arms surmounted by an elaborate royal crown, displaying the combined heraldic achievements of Poland (white eagle), Lithuania (mounted knight), and Saxony (barry with a crown-charged bend), with the electoral arms of Saxony on an escutcheon at the fesse point. The shield is framed by symmetrical foliate and acanthus mantling. The mint-master's initials EDC appear in the lower exergue below the shield. The date 1753 is inscribed to the left of the crown, and the full Latin legend referencing the king's dignity as Arch-Chancellor and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire curves around the periphery. A beaded inner border and reeded edge complete the design. |
