| Descrizione del dritto | Right-facing draped bust of Augustus III, King of Poland and Elector of Saxony, wearing an arched royal crown and elaborate lace-trimmed court robes rendered in fine relief. The effigy occupies the majority of the flan, with the king depicted in a dignified Baroque portrait style typical of mid-18th century Saxon die-work. A beaded inner border frames the design, while the Latin royal legend curves along the upper periphery. The portrait exhibits strong sculptural modelling, with naturalistically rendered hair and richly detailed drapery characteristic of the Leipzig Mint's engraving tradition. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Central quartered shield of arms surmounted by an elaborate royal crown, displaying the combined heraldic achievements of Poland (white eagle), Lithuania (mounted knight), and Saxony (barry with a crown-charged bend), with the electoral arms of Saxony on an escutcheon at the fesse point. The shield is framed by symmetrical foliate and acanthus mantling. The mint-master's initials EDC appear in the lower exergue below the shield. The date 1753 is inscribed to the left of the crown, and the full Latin legend referencing the king's dignity as Arch-Chancellor and Elector of the Holy Roman Empire curves around the periphery. A beaded inner border and reeded edge complete the design. |
