| Description du revers | Standing figure of Fortuna depicted facing left in full length, draped in a flowing stola, holding a rudder in her right hand resting on a globe at her feet, and a cornucopia in her left hand — emblems of prosperity and divine guidance. The composition is well-centred within the broad orichalcum flan. The large senatorial authorisation letters S and C (Senatus Consultum) are placed symmetrically in the left and right fields respectively, flanking the figure. The reverse legend FORTVNAE REDVCI arcs around the upper periphery, invoking Fortuna as the goddess of safe return. |
