| Popis rubu | The personification of Iustitia (Justice) is depicted seated to the left upon a throne or chair, rendered in the draped classical style favored on Hadrianic reverse types. In her right hand she holds a patera, and in her left hand she clasps a long sceptre. The figure is shown in a composed, frontal-facing posture with her head turned slightly left, conveying regal authority. The senatorial mark of value S·C (Senatus Consultum) appears in the lower field, and the surrounding legend encircles the type along the periphery of the flan. |
