| Obverse description | The obverse bears the abbreviated provincial inscription in three lines within the field, reading GRON / ET OML / 1692, denoting Groningen and the Ommelanden with the date below. The lettering is rendered in large, bold Roman capitals typical of hammered Dutch provincial coinage of the late seventeenth century. The coin exhibits an irregular flan edge consistent with hand-hammered production, with a beaded inner border visible on portions of the periphery. No portrait or additional emblematic device appears; the inscription alone fills the entire obverse field. |

| Reverse description | The reverse displays the quartered arms of Groningen and the Ommelanden on a shield occupying the central field, surmounted by a provincial crown with three visible fleurons and decorative elements above. The upper-left and lower-right quarters bear an eagle displayed, representing the city of Groningen, while the upper-right and lower-left quarters are charged with a diagonal band strewn with small trefoils or leaves, representing the Ommelanden. The shield and crown are rendered in relief in the bold, somewhat crude style characteristic of hammered copper duits of this period. A beaded border runs along the coin's periphery. |
