Reverse description A crowned heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Seven United Provinces, flanked on each side by a rampant lion guardant serving as supporter. The date is divided across the upper field on either side of the mint mark and privy mark (a seated dog). The legend encircles the composition along the outer border, with wedge-shaped stops separating the words. The overall design follows the standard ducaton reverse type of the Dutch Republic, here struck in high relief on a square klippe flan as a piedfort presentation piece.
