| Description du revers | A crowned escutcheon bearing the quartered arms of the Seven United Provinces is centrally positioned in the field, flanked on each side by a rampant lion passant guardant serving as heraldic supporter. The date appears in the upper field above the crown. The encircling Latin motto legend is punctuated by pellet stops and runs along the full periphery. The reverse composition is formal and heraldic in character, consistent with the silver rider coinage series of the Dutch provincial issues. |
