背面描述	A standing bear rampant to the right, carrying a log on its shoulder and presenting a nail or peg, faces the haloed figure of Saint Gallus, the abbey's patron saint, shown seated and robed, holding a pastoral staff in his right hand and receiving the offering with his left. The scene alludes to the legendary encounter between Saint Gallus and the bear, a central motif in the iconography of the Abbey of Saint Gall. The date 1773 appears to the right within the field, and the engraver's initial H is visible at the bottom exergue. The circular Latin legend G·E·H·E·P·O·O·B·1773 runs along the upper periphery within a reeded border.
