| Opis rewersu | A fire altar with pendant ribbons occupies the center of the field, flanked symmetrically by two standing attendants in the traditional Sasanian priestly pose. A star and crescent appear on either side of the altar flames, emphasizing the Zoroastrian sacred imagery central to Sasanian numismatic iconography. The design is enclosed within a double linear border, and the broad outer margin is filled with a continuous series of star-in-crescent devices consistent with the obverse decoration. Pahlavi inscriptions, including the mint name and regnal year, appear in the field alongside the attendant figures. The composition reflects the standardized reverse type employed throughout the Sasanian dynastic series. |
