Identical symbols or Pahlavi characters appear on the altar shaft and to the right of the flames atop the altar, likely denoting mint or regnal identifiers. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded border with a Pahlavi legend in the surrounding field, following standard Sasanian iconographic convention for the fire altar type. |
