| Obverse description | Diademed and draped bust of Strato II facing right, wearing a crested helmet adorned with a diadem; the king is depicted in the Indo-Greek artistic tradition with fine engraving of facial features and drapery folds. The effigy is rendered in three-quarter view, characteristic of late Indo-Greek coinage. Surrounding the bust, the Greek legend reads ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΣΩΤΗΡΟΣ ΣΤΡΑΤΩΝΟΣ (of King Strato the Saviour), disposed in a circular arrangement around the field. |

| Reverse description | Standing figure of Athena Alkidemos facing left, advancing in a dynamic posture with right arm extended and thunderbolt in hand, aegis prominent on the left arm; the goddess is depicted in the characteristically vigorous Indo-Greek style. The reverse field is somewhat worn, with the goddess's drapery and attributes rendered in hammered relief. The circular Kharosthi legend surrounds the central device, giving the Prakrit equivalent of the royal title and epithet. |
