| Popis rubu | A fully open rose with detailed petals occupies the central field, with a rose bud on a stem curving to the right, serving as the civic emblem of Rhodes. The letters Ρ and Ο are positioned on either side of the rose, abbreviating the ethnic ΡΟΔΙΩΝ. The magistrate's name ΦΙΛΟΚΡΑΤΗΣ is inscribed above in Greek letters, while a bucranium (ox skull) appears as a secondary symbol in the lower left field. The entire design is set within a shallow square incuse border, characteristic of the Rhodian plintophoric drachm series. |
