| Description du revers | Arsakes I, the dynastic founder and divine ancestor of the Parthian royal line, seated in three-quarter view to the right upon an omphalos throne, holding a strung bow in his right hand — the emblematic weapon of Arsacid sovereignty. A monogram appears beneath the bow, serving as a mint or magistrate control mark. Behind the throne, a symbol is positioned above an anchor symbol, the latter being a legacy motif inherited from Seleucid numismatic tradition. The reverse composition follows the standardized Sellwood Type 48 format and is surrounded by a Greek dynastic legend in the field. |
