Fine die-cutting is evident in the delicate facial modelling, with well-articulated features including a sharp profile, almond-shaped eye, and softly parted lips. The field is smooth and unlettered, with the portrait dominating the flan. |

The magistrate's name ΜΑΗΣ (Mahes) appears in the upper field, with the ethnic abbreviation PO (for ΡΟΔΙΩΝ, Rhodians) distributed in the field. To the lower right, an Isis crown serves as a secondary control symbol. The entire design is contained within a shallow square incuse (plinthophoron format), a hallmark of the late Rhodian drachm series. |
