| Description de l’avers | Highly stylised Celticised head of a bearded male facing right, rendered in the characteristic Kugelwange ('ball-cheek') manner with a prominent spherical protrusion representing the cheek. The laureate wreath is abstracted into a series of bold, elongated pellets and lenticular bosses arranged across the crown of the head. Facial features — including the eye, rendered as an oval boss, and the beard, suggested by curving incuse lines at the chin — are reduced to geometric Celtic decorative elements. The overall treatment reflects the progressive barbarisation of the Hellenistic prototype, retaining the general rightward orientation of the archetype while imposing a distinctly Celtic artistic vocabulary. |

| Description du revers | A stylised horse prancing to the left, its body rendered in a schematic, highly abstracted Celtic manner with a large globular torso and attenuated limbs. Above the horse's back, a pellet-in-annulet device occupies the upper field, a characteristic Celtic decorative symbol. Additional pellets are scattered in the field, and the horse's tail and legs are suggested by thin curved lines. Below the horse, a curved linear element may represent a ground line or further decorative abstraction. The overall composition reflects the Celtic transformation of the Philippic or Alexandrine drachm reverse prototype. |
