Stars flank the crown on either side, and the bust is enclosed within a double beaded border. The outer margin is populated with star-in-crescent symbols, the Pahlavi mintmark inscription 'APD', and an eleven-pointed star, all rendered in the distinctive late Sasanian hammered style. |
