| Aversbeschreibung | Right-facing draped bust of Kavadh I within a beaded border, wearing his distinctive three-pronged crown adorned with a frontal crescent; atop the crown rises a vertical finial surmounted by a crescent enclosing a globe fashioned from flame-like projections, the finial wrapped in a ribbon whose ends curve upward. A diadem of two rows of pellets encircles the royal head, and a hair-globe is rendered at the nape of the neck. A crescent appears above each shoulder, while the trailing ends of a second ribbon — each terminating in a six-pointed star — emerge from behind the shoulders. Crescents with globes are symmetrically placed at left, right, and below within the beaded rim. A Pahlavi inscription reading kdy kw·t (Great Kavad) occupies the field. |

| Reversbeschreibung | Central fire altar with a blazing flame rising from its capital, flanked by schematic standing attendant figures whose pointed headdresses break the inner beaded border. A six-pointed star appears to the left of the flame and a crescent to the right. The altar's shaft is draped with a ribbon whose ends hang downward. The entire composition is enclosed within a beaded circular border, consistent with standard Sasanian reverse iconography symbolizing the Zoroastrian sacred fire. |
