| Obverse description | Radiate head of Helios facing three-quarters right, rendered in fine Hellenistic style with flowing locks of hair swept behind the prominent solar rays emanating from the crown of the head. The facial features are finely modelled, with a sharp profile displaying a well-defined brow, almond-shaped eye, and slightly parted lips. The hair falls in curling locks to the neck, characteristic of the plintophoric series of Rhodian coinage. No legend or inscription appears in the field. |
