| Obverse description | Draped bust of an indeterminate Elymaean king facing left, wearing a distinctive tiara or diadem adorned with a prominent frontal ornament, with curled hair visible above the forehead. The portrait is rendered in the late Arsacid provincial style, with a bearded face and broad, somewhat schematic facial features typical of Elymais coinage of this period. An anchor symbol or dynastic device is partially visible in the right field. No legible legend is present, consistent with the degenerate coinage of the late Elymaean dynasty. |
