| Descrizione del dritto | Right-facing head of the deified Herakles in three-quarter relief, wearing the lion skin headdress with the scalp drawn over the crown and the forelegs knotted beneath the chin. The facial features are rendered with fine naturalistic detail, including a strong jaw, prominent nose, and subtly parted lips. The mane of the lion skin frames the face with bold striated engraving, cascading behind the neck. The field is plain, with no legend, consistent with the standard Alexander III drachm type as struck at the Sardis mint. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Zeus Aëtophoros enthroned left on a high-backed throne, his upper body nude and muscular, draped from the waist in a himation falling over his legs. He extends his right hand forward bearing an eagle with closed wings, while his left hand holds a long sceptre upright. In the left field, the Macedonian royal symbol, the Greek letter epsilon (Ε), serves as a mint control mark. A small thunderbolt appears beneath the throne. The vertical Greek legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs down the right field, reading from top to bottom. |
