The legend ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ runs along the right field. Below the throne, an ivy leaf appears as a mint control symbol, while a spearhead pointing upward is placed in the right field as a secondary control mark. The composition is characteristic of the Colophon mint issues struck in the name of Alexander III. |
