| Descrição do anverso | Bust of Artabanus IV facing left, depicted in the late Parthian royal tradition with a heavily ornamented tiara adorned with rows of pellets and a prominent six-pointed star at the center front. The king wears a diadem with ribbon ends falling behind the neck, and elaborate scale or mail armor is visible at the shoulder. Long, flowing hair falls in stylized locks behind the neck and ear. The effigy is rendered in a slightly schematic late Arsacid style, set within a border of pellets encircling the entire flan. |
