正面描述	Bust of Ardashir III facing right, wearing a distinctive three-toothed crown surmounted by a crescent and globe, with a short ribbon pendant from the crescent. The diadem comprises two rows of beads, and a star-and-crescent device appears to the right of the crown. A royal ribbon rises above the king's shoulder, while the effigy displays a curled beard, ringletted hair, an earring, and a necklace of small beaded elements suspending three pendants. Crescents are positioned beneath each shoulder, stars-and-crescents adorn the shoulders, and three symmetrically arranged star-and-crescent devices occupy the field. The obverse carries a Pahlavi legend.
