| Popis rubu | Central Zoroastrian fire altar with two attendants standing on either side, each facing inward toward the altar in the established Sasanian iconographic tradition. The fire altar is depicted with flames rising from the top and a stepped base, all contained within a beaded inner circle. Marginal Arabic legends encircle the design in the outer border, replacing or supplementing the original Pahlavi mint and regnal year inscriptions. Annulets are placed in the outer margin. The overall design closely follows the Sasanian drachm prototype of Khusro II, adapted for Arab-Sasanian administrative coinage. |
