Obverse description Pegasus in full flight to left, depicted in the characteristic Corinthian style with wings raised and spread, feathers rendered in fine detail; the mythological winged horse is shown with forelegs extended and hindquarters curving gracefully. The Corinthian civic badge koppa (Ϙ) appears below the body in the lower field, serving as a mint control mark. The design is boldly struck in high relief against a smooth, largely plain field, consistent with the artistic conventions of early Hellenistic Corinthian coinage.
