背面描述	Herakles, clad in the Nemean lion skin, kneeling to the right on one knee in a striding pose, drawing a strung bow. An owl, symbol of Athena, stands to the left or right. The legend ΘΑΣΙΟΝ ('of the Thasians') runs around the periphery. The entire design is contained within a linear square border set within a broad incuse square, a hallmark of early Greek coinage technique.
