Beschrijving voorzijde	Wreathed head of Dionysos facing left, rendered in high relief with fine archaic-style engraving. The god is depicted with a thick, curly beard and flowing locks, crowned with a vine and ivy wreath. The portrait displays strong facial modeling characteristic of late 5th to mid-4th century BC Thasian coinage. The field is plain, with no legend or additional devices on the obverse.

Beschrijving keerzijde	Herakles, clad in the Nemean lion skin, kneeling to the right on one knee in a striding pose, drawing a strung bow. An owl, symbol of Athena, stands to the left or right. The legend ΘΑΣΙΟΝ ('of the Thasians') runs around the periphery. The entire design is contained within a linear square border set within a broad incuse square, a hallmark of early Greek coinage technique.
