| Descrizione del rovescio | Three fleurs-de-lis arranged in a triangular formation occupy the central field, two above and one below, all within a smooth inner circle. The legend + DOVBLE.TOVRNOIS.1637 commences at 12 o'clock and runs clockwise around the periphery, separated from the central design by the smooth circle. The fleurs-de-lis are rendered in the bold, stylised manner typical of French royal copper coinage of the period. |
