| 背面描述 | A crowned quartered shield of arms occupies the centre of the field, displaying the royal arms of England and Scotland quarterly, with France in the second and third quarters and Ireland in the fourth, all within a beaded inner circle. The royal cypher IR (Jacobus Rex) appears on either side of the shield, dividing the design. The crowned shield is rendered with fine engraved detail consistent with the hammered gold coinage of James I's second coinage. The encircling Latin legend HENRICVS ROSAS REGNA IACOBVS I R runs between the inner and outer beaded borders, alluding to Henry VII's union of the roses and James I's union of the crowns. |
