| Beschrijving voorzijde | Irregular hammered silver flan bearing multiple lines of boldly struck Arabic calligraphic legend occupying the entire field, executed in a characteristic Naskh-influenced hand typical of Muzaffarid coinage. The inscriptions, arranged in horizontal registers, carry the royal titulature and Islamic profession of faith. Small pellet or star ornaments serve as separators between lines of text. The legend is set within a plain linear border that follows the irregular contour of the flan. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Shah Shoja Muzaffar was the founder of the Muzaffarid dynasty of Gujarat, having been appointed governor of the region under the Delhi Sultanate before effectively asserting independence following Timur's devastating 1398 raid on Delhi — which shattered Tughluq authority and left provincial governors with little reason to maintain nominal submission. The Shabaknara mint has not been definitively located by modern scholarship, and its identification remains debated among specialists in medieval Indian numismatics.
