| Descrizione del dritto | Central field contains a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged in horizontal bands within a double linear border. The Shahada and additional pious formulae are inscribed in angular Kufic script. A circular marginal legend in Arabic runs along the outer rim, separated from the central device by a beaded or plain inner border. The overall style is consistent with Abbasid-influenced hammered silver coinage of the mid-10th century, with slightly irregular flan edges typical of hand-struck production. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Central field displays a multi-line Arabic inscription in Kufic script arranged in horizontal registers within a circular border, containing the declaration of faith and the name of the Abbasid caliph al-Muti'. The marginal legend encircling the central device carries additional Quranic or administrative formulae in Arabic. The name of the local ruler Ridwan b. Ja'far Huzu appears as part of the overall epigraphic programme. The flan is slightly irregular and the surfaces show characteristic flow lines from hammered manufacture. The style closely follows standard Abbasid dirham conventions of the 4th century AH. |
