Reverse description Reverse similarly features a prominent six-pointed star (hexagram) with interlaced triangles and beaded inner borders, consistent with the distinctive Artuqid dynastic coinage style. Multi-line Arabic inscription fills the central hexagonal field, bearing religious formulae and/or mint and date information. The interstices between the star's triangular points and the surrounding beaded rim are filled with Arabic marginal legends, all struck on an irregularly shaped silver flan typical of hammered medieval Islamic dirhams.
