Within the star, a multi-line Arabic religious or honorific legend in Naskh script occupies the central band. The triangular points of the star contain additional Arabic inscriptions or ornamental devices. The area between the star points and the circular rim is filled with further Arabic lettering arranged in the interstices, all within a plain outer border. |
