Small star-shaped ornaments punctuate the text registers as decorative dividers. The inscription is contained within a beaded inner circle, with the characteristic uneven, hand-struck flan edge of hammered Seljuk silver dirhams visible at the periphery. The die engraving is robust and deeply impressed, consistent with the high-quality silver coinage issued at the Konya mint during the reign of Kayqubād I. |
