Описание реверса Central field displays the Islamic Shahadah in Arabic, with the name of Allah positioned at the top of the design. The name 'Muhammad' appears prominently in the center, referencing the Prophet as Messenger of God. The mint name 'Tabriz' is incorporated within the field as part of the minting formula 'Duriba fi Tabriz' (Minted in Tabriz). A circular marginal legend spells out the Hijri date in full Arabic words, encircling the central religious inscriptions. The composition follows the standard Ilkhanid reverse type established under Ghazan's monetary reform of 1296, with the Shahadah formula occupying the central register.

Дополнительная информация

Ghazan Khan's conversion to Islam in 1295 — the first Ilkhan to do so — triggered an immediate overhaul of the coinage system. He abolished the Buddhist and pagan imagery that had characterized earlier Ilkhanid issues and mandated the Kalima on all silver. The reform of 1297–1298 also introduced a new weight standard tied to Islamic legal requirements for zakat calculation, a deliberate signal to the Sunni establishment that the dynasty had genuinely reoriented.

A#2173 covers a narrow window of his reign when mint output was being consolidated across Persia. Regional die production during this span was inconsistent enough that attribution to a specific mint often hinges on marginal legends alone.
