背面描述 Central field bears a multi-line Mongolian inscription in Uighur script reading 'Khagan nereber Abaqa-yin deledkegulugsen' (Issued by command of the Khagan Abaqa), rendered in the flowing style characteristic of Ilkhanid bilingual coinage. The legend is distributed across several horizontal lines filling the flan, with bold raised characters against an unadorned field. A partial beaded or dotted border is visible along the coin's periphery. The overall strike is typical of hammered Ilkhanid dirhams, showing slight weakness at the irregular edges of the flan.

附加信息

Abaqa Khan ruled the Ilkhanate from 1265 until his death in 1282, maintaining a broadly tolerant policy toward Christianity — his mother was a Nestorian Christian, and he pursued repeated diplomatic overtures to European powers for a joint crusade against the Mamluks that never materialized. The dirham issues bearing his name continued to be struck posthumously under his successor Teküder, which accounts for the emission range extending past his death year.
