| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field occupied by a Jochid tamga device, rendered in relief with a characteristic trident-like form surmounted by a circular finial, flanked by pellets in the field. The tamga is enclosed within a circular border formed by a stylized arabesque or rope-pattern inner ring. Arabic legend denoting the mint name Bulghar surrounds the central device within the border, the whole composition typical of anonymous Golden Horde civic coinage of the late 13th to early 14th century. |

The birds are arranged informally in the field without a formal border, filling the irregular flan with a lively, naturalistic composition unique among Golden Horde coinage.
