The tamga is enclosed within a circular border formed by a stylized arabesque or rope-pattern inner ring. Arabic legend denoting the mint name Bulghar surrounds the central device within the border, the whole composition typical of anonymous Golden Horde civic coinage of the late 13th to early 14th century. |
