Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription arranged within a decorative rectangular cartouche with ruled border lines, reading the royal titulature of Sultan Öz Beg Khan. The legend identifies the ruler as 'Sultan the Highest Öz Beg' and records the mint name Saray together with the AH regnal year 717 (or 727/728). The script is executed in a bold, angular Naskh style characteristic of Golden Horde coinage, with decorative pellets punctuating the lower border of the frame.
