| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic religious legend arranged in three to four horizontal lines, enclosed within a circular border. A six-pointed star or geometric ornament is visible at the center of the inscription field, a decorative motif characteristic of Jochid coinage of this period. The script is executed in a bold, somewhat cursive Naskh hand typical of mid-14th century Golden Horde dirhams, with individual letter forms crowded due to the irregular flan. The overall strike is slightly off-center, consistent with the hammered production technique of the Saray al-Jadida mint. |
