Reverse description The reverse presents a multi-line Arabic epigraphic legend in a flowing cursive style filling the entire coin field. The inscription records the mint name Gulistan and the date of issue in Hijri numerals (759 AH), arranged in horizontal registers across the flan. The script is boldly rendered with characteristic Golden Horde calligraphic conventions, including elongated horizontal strokes and stacked letterforms. The strike is slightly off-center, as is typical of hammered Islamic dirhams of this period. No border or decorative frame is present, the legend extending to the rim of the irregular flan.
