| Beschrijving voorzijde | Hammered silver flan of irregular round form bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script occupying the entire field. The inscription invokes the regnal formula in honour of Khan Abdallah, reading in translation 'Khan Abdallah, may his reign be long.' The deeply struck lettering is characteristic of late Golden Horde coinage, with individual letter forms bold and somewhat angular due to the hand-cut die. The flat, unbordered field shows typical die-wear and surface granularity consistent with hammered production. |
